I came to the CTO role through engineering.

From device engineering to the whole product.

I am co-founder and CTO at Fell Technology, a role I have held since 2013. My responsibility has crossed hardware, electronics, firmware, cloud, mobile applications, DevOps, industrialization, certification, support and ongoing operation of connected products.

At its largest, the engineering organization I led included more than 80 internal and external engineers, working through technical leads and distributed teams. Today, I work with smaller, focused teams on AI-enabled products and workflows. I have also worked across global connected-product and OEM delivery. My earlier work as an embedded systems engineer at Texas Instruments Norway continues to shape how I think: abstractions matter, but real systems are ultimately constrained by physics, interfaces and operating conditions.

I stay close to the decisions that change the product.

I still go into technical detail when the decision demands it. As the organization has grown, my responsibility has shifted toward making sure the right people hold the right decisions, with enough context to see the consequences across the product.

I want teams to know what they own, which evidence informs a choice and when a decision has crossed their authority. In AI work, this shows up in evaluation and permission design. In connected products, it shows up in interface ownership, lifecycle planning and what happens after release.

AI work that survives production.

A large part of my current work concerns AI-assisted engineering and agentic workflows for complex product and support environments. I am interested in the parts after the demo: what the software may access, how it is evaluated, when a person takes over and what evidence remains when something goes wrong.

The management question is just as important: which work should change, what people still own and how a leadership team knows whether the software is helping.
